  1. Good article but I think having a visa implemented is the least of Mexico's worries. When looking at some of the countries major problems such as drug trafficking and corruption, attention should be put more heavily on solving those issues as opposed to trying to fight this one.

  2. Your article truly describes the tension between Canada and Mexico; our relationship is clearly rocky due to Mexicos lack of cooperation with visas and the residents of Mexico feel that Canada has betrayed their NAFTA agreement.

  3. After reading your article I have a better understanding of the issue that is facing Canada and Mexico in relation to eachother. I believe that Mexico should display a higher level of cooperation towards Canada regarding visas but I do understand that the Mexicans may feel hostile after Canada's supposed "betrayment."

  4. Yes, Steve, I really like this article. It offers a succinct overview of the issues facing both countries, the culmination of which is the imposition of visas for Mexicans hoping to travel to Canada. I understand the concern. If Mexicans were travelling to Canada and then seeking refugee status in increasing numbers then perhaps it is justified. However, in order to provide some context, you need to research, find articles and post on the North American Free-Trade Agreement. It is crucial that you understand its politics, what it hoped to achieve and where it stands now. The article also points up the increasing benefits of cultivating Mexico as a trade partner. Including a country profile on both countries would enhance your blog, as would some key links to various - relevant - government of Canada websites, particularly foreign affairs.

Make sure, also, that you label your posts (history, trade, drug inforcement, key figures, etc.). Doing so will make it easier to follow your blog.

From now on you should be posting at least twice a week.

    Great start, Sir.
